The manual - what do I need?

If you play euphonium, the CroXbelt II/40 is all you need. It consists of a cross harness and two 30 mm Mini-Straps that remain attached to the instrument.

If you play a lightweight tuba, the CroXbelt II/50 is the right choice. It comes with two 50 mm Maxi-Straps that are permanently attached to the instrument.

If your tuba is particularly heavy, we recommend the CroXbelt III/50. It features an additional waist belt, allowing most of the instrument's weight to be carried by your hips instead of your shoulders.

If you also play sousaphone, you can use the same harness. The two side buckles are not required for the sousaphone, but you will need one additional Maxi-Strap attached to the instrument.

If you play only sousaphone, choose either the CroXbelt II/50 or the CroXbelt III/50, depending on the weight of your instrument, together with one Maxi-Strap for the sousaphone.

If you've read carefully and put the pieces together, you'll notice that the tuba harness and the sousaphone harness are almost identical. The only difference is the two additional side buckles on the tuba version, which prevent the tuba from tipping forward and falling to the ground.

Since this cannot happen with a sousaphone, you have two options: choose the tuba harness if you want one harness for both instruments, or choose the dedicated harness for each instrument.

That's it – have fun playing!

If you play the euphonium, then the Croxbelt II/40 is sufficient. It consists of a cross strap and two 30mm wide mini-straps that are attached to the instrument.

If you play a light tuba, then Croxbelt II/50 with two 50mm wide maxi-straps attached to the instrument is sufficient.

However, if your tuba is very heavy, then it is better to use Croxbelt III/50, which has an additional loop around the waist. This way you carry most of the weight with your hips.

If you also play the sousaphone, you can use the same belt, but you don't need the side hooks. But you need an additional maxi strap for the sousaphone, so order it too.

If you only play the sousaphone, you can use the Croxbelt II/50 or III/50 with a maxi-strap for the instrument, depending on the weight.

And if you read carefully and combine things, the tuba strap differs from the sousaphone strap only in the two additional buckles that prevent the tuba from falling forward to the floor.

That doesn't happen with the sousaphone. So - one strap for everything, then the tuba strap, or just the right strap for each instrument.

That's it - have fun!
